    Rainbow

    This summer the kids have loved playing in the rain.  If there is no thunder or lightening, I let them.  They ran in excitedly one day in August because you could clearly see a full rainbow in the sky after a summer shower! I wish I was a better photographer because I failed to capture the beauty of it.  I guess I am a lot like the kids because rainbows never cease to amaze me.

    Genesis 9:15-17 (N I V)

    I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.  Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth."

    So God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth."

    I miss seeing rainbows..use to see them in Hawaii all the time when we lived there...thanks for sharing the pic...a great reminder of God's promise!

    It's actually quite difficult to capture a rainbow through usual means in photography. I understand it's all about natural lighting and knowing what angle to take it. I agree with Happy Flower that it's a great photo and anyone can clearly see it's a rainbow.

    hi theresa, yes I love rainbows too, and they always remind me of god's promises. things have been really tough in lots of ways lately -especially so over the last few weeks, but during that time I saw 2 rainbows, the first for a long long time, it reminded me of god's love and provision for us - I know he tests and chastises us too, and he must listen to him. god bless - nita.
